Horizon Europe “Africa Initiative III” – Focus on South Africa

Organised by the European Commission, the EU Delegation to South Africa, South Africa’s Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI), and the South African Embassy to Belgium, Luxembourg and the EU, in partnership with EURAXESS Africa, this high-level event will present 24 new call topics under the recently launched Africa Initiative III, with a total budget of €500 million—more than double that of previous Africa Initiatives. It’s a key opportunity to explore concrete pathways for EU–South Africa and broader EU–Africa research and innovation collaboration.
