DevelopMed, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) COFUND Action, is a new International Training and Career Development Fellowship Programme led by University College Dublin and coordinated by Systems Biology Ireland (SBI).

The Programme offers 12 prestigious Precision Oncology Fellowships to experienced researchers at the early stage of their careers.

General programme research themes include Diagnostics, Drug Development and the Tumour Microenvironment.

Proposals may be in basic or applied research topics broadly classified within the aforementioned precision oncology themes (e.g. computational modelling, nutrition, immunology, cell signaling, machine learning, etc.).

All fellowships are based in Irish research performing organisations: University College Dublin (UCD), National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG), University College Cork (UCC), and the RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences (RCSI).

Fellowships also include 3-6 month secondments at any research institution in academic, industry, clinical and/or charity sectors.

DevelopMed prioritizes interdisciplinary training and career support to fellows, with the aim of developing the next generation of leaders in precision oncology.
