OFFER DESCRIPTION

[Outline]
The laboratory of Prof. Masaya Nogi, Department of Functionalized Natural Materials,
SANKEN(The Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research), Osaka University has been
carrying out research on the development of functional natural materials using cellulose
nanofibers and the analysis on their material properties.
The laboratory is now seeking a member of academic staff, with desire and motivation who
contributes to develop the strength of research in close collaboration with Prof. Masaya
Nogi. The successful applicant will be responsible for the cutting-edge research as well as
education of liberal arts and graduate levels.

･Analysis on material properties of natural nanofibers such as cellulose, chitin, and
chitosan
･Development of advanced functional materials using the natural nanofibers.
･Supervision of students and teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels
