[Job description]
The field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). For example, EMC measurement (measurement techniques, immunity and susceptibility test etc.), techniques for suppressing electromagnetic radiation (shield, filter, absorber and electrostatic discharge, etc.), EMC co-design and optimal design of electronic equipment and printed circuit board, EMC techniques related to new application in power electronics, automotive and IoT (wireless power transfer, wearable device, intra-body communication, renewable energy, smart-grid, etc.).
The successful applicant will be in charge of lectures on special subjects at undergraduate and/or graduate schools. The successful applicant may be requested to take charge of lectures on basic subjects.

- Job Title: Assistant Professor(full-time)
- Salary: Annual salary based on the UEC Employee's Salary Regulation
- Based on standard work hours of 7 hours and 45minutes during 8:30am-5:15pm, an individual employee may decide how his/her schedule will fit into work day.
However, if an employee teaches a night course of the Fundamental Programs for Advanced Engineering that is offered on Saturday, the day off should be taken on one of the weekdays instead. For securing the number of credit hours, an employee may need to work on public holidays.
- Research fund: The assistant professor's research expenses according to the university rule.

- Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, holidays prescribed by the National Holiday Act, New Year's holiday, and the days designated by UEC.
- Paid holidays: Annual paid holidays, special leave, childcare leave, and nursing care leave
- Insurances: Health insurance (the Monbukagakusho Mutual-Aid Association Insurance), national pension, employment insurance, and worker's compensation insurance
