As Europe starts the long path to recovery from COVID-19, the European Commission is launching a new, modernised Europass which will offer a multilingual ‘e-Portfolio tool’, for people across Europe to manage their career. The launch of the new platform marks a new chapter in the modernisation of EU tools for skills.
The new Europass will be live on 1 July 2020.
What’s in the new Europass?
- E-portfolio: to support users to document and describe skills, qualifications and experience to manage their career from a lifelong perspective
- Customised information and links to national sources to help users find jobs, courses and local support
- One platform which allows easy sharing of information on skills and qualifications from other services
- One European Framework for issuing digital credentials
