The project aims to develop new materials based on agricultural residues for industrial applications, promoting the substitution of non-renewable resources through sustainable design. It is intended to develop a comprehensive study of the use of agricultural residues, in order to obtain monomers to synthesize polymers and other revaluable products that can be precursors of other compounds. In addition, it is intended to obtain fibers to reinforce materials and advance in the compotibilization of the reinforcements with the polymeric matrices. With this, it is intended to revalue this waste and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. On the other hand, the project wants to create new business models related to waste management within the new value chain of different agricultural sectors to enhance the sensitivity and awareness of the primary sector by promoting economic and ecological waste management.
Interested applicants (PhD holders) should send their CV, Motivation letter and Summary of project proposal (250 words) to the UJA potential proposal supervisor (firstname.lastname@example.org) by the hosting offer deadline. Please, take into account that only candidates that meet the MSCA-IF 2021 application requirements according to the Funding & Tenders Portal (such as the so-called ‘mobility rule’) will be considered for proposal supervision.
