As far the UJA hosting offer is concerned, Prof. LUIS MIGUEL NIETO ALBERT (firstname.lastname@example.org) would be willing to host post-doctoral researchers that are eventually funded through the MSCA-IF 2020 call for applications to be part of the following research team: https://www.ujaen.es/servicios/ofipi/uja-ri-expertise/rnm-200-analysis-basins-and-environmental-geology
The 'Analysis of Basins and Environmental Geology' research group carries out its activity in the field of stratigraphy, sedimentology, chemostratigraphy, biostratigraphy and basin analysis. Recently, this research group is developed a topic related with the valuing and assessing the geodiversity and geological heritage and their applications to natural protected areas management and the sustainable land use. The results of its research are widely applicable in fields as important as groundwater, energy resources, oil, gas, coal or industrial minerals, land use, or management of natural resources.
Within the framework of the present Expression of Interest, two main research lines are offered by Prof. Nieto to prospective MSCA-IF candidates:
