Description
We conduct theoretical astroparticle physics, in particular in the areas of energetic particles in space, astro-plasma physics, and gamma-ray astronomy. The group consists of three postdocs, two Ph.D. students, one M.S. student, and myself. The group leader has a joint appointment with DESY, and the group is embedded in a larger research division at a nearby DESY lab, with about 20 researchers in theoretical astropartical physics and roughly 50 researchers conducting experimental or observational neutrino and gamma-ray astronomy. We can offer a variety of projects ranging from intensity numerical simulations to analytical work.
