Description
The Department of Life Sciences (DSV) – University of Siena- offers the opportunity to act as a host institution for beneficiaries of Marie Sklodowska-Curie individual fellowships (MSCA-IF), in any of the research areas of the department

- Biodiversity, Conservation, and Environmental Quality
- Biology and Physiology of Reproduction
- Hygiene
- Molecular and Cellular Biology
- Pharmacology and Toxicology
The research topic will be freely chosen by the researchers in collaboration with the scientific supervisor of the host organization.
Experience/skills required: Researchers shall, at the time of the deadline for submission of proposals, be in possession of a doctoral degree or have at least four years of full-time equivalent research experience. Additionally, they should have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in English. The applicants should demonstrate evidence of a track record in peer-reviewed publications as well as ability to initiate and complete research characterized by originality, creativity and innovation.
Tenure: The position will initially be for the period covered by the MSCA fellowship, with the possibility for extending it further upon a positive assessment of the performance of the work carried out by the candidate during the fellowship.
Salary: The salary is a flat-rate covering the entire period of the project as established in the MSCA-IF rules.

Applications close: the 9th of June, by the 15th of June the selected applicants will be notified and invited to prepare their full proposal in collaboration with a supervisor at the DSV.
