OFFER DESCRIPTION
Dr Ayse Koca Caydasi is seeking a post-doctoral candidate to support, write and apply for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship to be conducted in their research group in Molecular Biology and Genetics department at Koç University, Istanbul, Turkey. A PhD in Biological Sciences is required. Prior experience in Cell Biology is a plus.
Our research is aimed at understanding how cells control exit from mitosis to maintain genome integrity, using the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a model organism. One of our recent interests is focused on a novel interplay of a rare signaling lipid with the cell cycle. Our research integrates cutting-edge microscopy, high-throughput genetics, and state-of-the-art proteomics techniques to uncover complexities of mitosis. For more details on our research group, visit our webpage: https://mysite.ku.edu.tr/aykoca/
