Outline
Cardiff School of Law and Politics is pleased to advertise two PhD studentships to support study on either its Law or Politics & International Relations PhD programmes.
Whilst the hope is to allocate one studentship to each programme, this will depend on the quality of the applications received.
Applications are invited from candidates with an interest in pursuing a PhD in any area of Law or Politics & International Relations in which the School is able to offer supervision.

What is funded
Full UK/EU tuition fees and an annual stipend at the UKRI postgraduate rate (currently £14,777).

Eligibility
Please note that the minimum admissions criteria are as follows:
- Applicants should have at least a 2:1 Honours degree or overseas equivalent in a relevant subject; and
- For those whose first language is not English, must obtain a score of at least 7.0 in IELTS (with no less than 6.5 in the writing element).
