Outline
The Cardiff Catalysis Institute (CCI) is one of our prestigious University Research Institutes. It is recognised internationally as a leading research centre for heterogeneous catalysis and has forged a strong reputation for its innovative and transformative work.
This project will use novel techniques, such as supercritical anti-solvent precipitation using CO2, to investigate the preparation of a range of heterogeneous catalysts. It will include aspects of catalyst preparation, characterisation and the evaluation of catalyst performance, particularly focusing on the valorisation of alkanes.
Interested applicants are welcome to get in touch to discuss the opportunity available.
