Outline
The International Research Centre for Japanese Studies (IRCJS, Nichibunken), promotes interdisciplinary research on Japanese culture and fosters cooperation among researchers in Japanese studies worldwide. The centre regularly appoints a number of scholars from around the world as Visiting Research Scholars.
What is funded
Researchers of any nationality can apply for a stay of 3 to 12 months at the centre, during which salary, travel expenses and research allowance may be covered by the centre.
