Requirements
Completed dissertation in archaeological subject with focus on osteology or completed dissertation in biological anthropology
- practical experience in the recording of skeletons and cremated human remains from archaeological excavations
- knowledge in the application and interpretation of bio-archaeological methods of analysis (e.g. isotopes, DNA, proteins, histology)
- knowledge of statistical methods and analyses (multivariate methods, programming language R, database creation and management)
- knowledge of digital image processing, photogrammetry and geographic information systems (preferably QGIS)
- very good written and spoken English
- flexibility, ability to work in a team and willingness to do research at home and abroad
