We welcome applications from skilled and committed researchers to join our team working on creating resilient, productive and healthy urban environments through a novel understanding of ecosystem processes.
About the Role
You will work on a multidisciplinary consortium project funded by NERC “Defragmenting the fragmented urban landscape (DEFRAG)”. The role entails planning and conducting field work, in particular air quality measurement and analysis (Particulate matter and Nitrogen oxides) but also supporting other field work focused on green infrastructure (GI) in real world environments and under controlled manipulations and in-situ GI interventions.
About You
You will be educated to doctoral level (or be close to completion) in a Science or Engineering discipline and have experience of air quality measurement and analysis, particularly for particulate matter and nitrogen oxides in ambient environments. You will be an initiative-taking individual with an ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and to work independently in developing novel insights to relationship between urban forms, blue – green-grey infrastructure and air quality.
