OFFER DESCRIPTION

The present research project is aimed at exploring the discursive construction in English as a lingua franca, and parallel translation into Italian, of international norms and recommendations in the fields of sustainable development and ecological (viz. just) transition, including the challenges posed by the latter. Drawing on critical discourse studies in a socio-semiotic perspective, the analysis will be of a contrastive, interdisciplinary nature and will focus in particular on the relationship between law and language, and on the ways in which the meaning-making processes in legal discourse, in its inherently performative function, intertwine with law-making processes. Public selection for University fixed-term researcher pursuant to art. 24 clause 3 letter a) of Italian Law n. 240 of 30.12.2010
Duration of contract: three years, extendible for two years only and once only, conditional on the finding of suitable funding in the future to cover the other two years and a positive assessment of the didactic activities and research carried out
Annual gross remuneration: € 36.675 - Full-time subject to subsequent adjustments
