OFFER DESCRIPTION

This position will be held by a Ph.D. student. Implementation of tasks resulting from the project progress throughout the duration of the project, with particular emphasis on the application of computerized cognitive functioning tests and handling of specialized application. Participation in teamwork. Conducting research in accordance with the schedule. Coordination of selected tasks assigned to a junior team member. Managing selected research tasks under the supervision of the PI. Adapting/programming of computerized cognitive tasks. Handling application for experience sampling. Making a substantive contribution to project tasks, including, for example, participation in discussions on the results obtained, participation in the detailed design of individual studies, participation in the preparation of internal reports. Initiation and leading of writing of selected manuscripts for publication. Representing the project in the scientific community.

Eligibility criteria

Meeting the access criterion - § 3.3) (Annex to the NCN Council Resolution No. 25/2019 of March 14, 2019).

Selection process

The candidate will be selected in a competition, in accordance with the guidelines of the National Science Center. In order to select the best candidate, the scholarship committee will assess the candidate's scientific achievements to date, his / her achievements resulting from conducting scientific research, and competencies to perform specific tasks in the research project.

  • REQUIRED LANGUAGES
    ENGLISH: Excellent

Skills/Qualifications

  • Fluency in English.
  • Interest in the subject of the project documented by previous activities or in an interview.
  • Statistical competencies which are necessary for planned analyzes.
  • Ability to analyze relevant scientific literature.
  • Ability to write scientific texts.
  • Competence in the field of cognitive tasks use and/or basic programming skills (or readiness to undergo training).
