OFFER DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for tip-enhanced Raman and photoluminescence spectroscopy studies and advanced scanning probe microscopy characterization, including electrical and mechanical modes, mostly on mechanically exfoliated and CVD 2D materials and their heterostructures.

Essential skills: Proven advanced experience with scanning probe-based methods - a must! Authorship of peer-review publications in respected journals in the field. PhD field: physics, chemistry, or material sciences.

Desirable experience: Raman spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy, mechanical exfoliation and stacking of 2D materials, electronic transport, clean room experience, optics.
