OFFER DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will fill the requirements explicated of the Higher Education Law (Law Journal 2021, item 478 amended), and will have the following:
1. PhD degree in discipline archaeology
2. at least 10 years of experience in carrying out archaeological research on Roman settlements sites with particular interest in their fortification systems;
3. at least 10 years of experience in directing documentation works with the use of digital archaeology methods (e.g. photogrammetry, tachymetry, GIS)
4. vast knowledge of the problems related to the Roman provinces and army

- statement on getting acquainted with and accepting the rules for job applications in competitions for academic positions at the University of Warsaw.

The results of the competition will be announced by 14.02.2022. It is the first stage of the employment process for academic teachers set down in the UW Statute; a positive result is essential to proceed further. The candidates will be informed about the ean of the Faculty. The candidates will be informed about the results of selection procedure by e-mail.
PCMA UW reserves the right to change the competition deadline and to interview selected candidates. Candidates will be informed individually about their interview dates.
