OFFER DESCRIPTION
We are an established research team interested in the function and evolution of telomere and telomerase in plants. We focus on telomerase function during plant growth and vegetative development as well as on telomerase interactions in vivo and in vitro to establish working models. The successful candidates will join projects that combine methodical approaches of plant developmental genetics, molecular biology, microscopy and genetics.
Requirements:
- PhD in molecular biology, genetics, or biochemistry (previous experience with plant models and/or microscopy is a plus), PhD thesis defence in early 2022 is acceptable
- Publication track record
- Experience in using standard molecular biology/biochemistry methods
- Proficiency in English –oral and written
- Openness to learn new techniques
- Active attitude to problem-solving, ability to work in a team
- Independent thinking & passion for science
