Selection process

With addition to the Official Application for the Concourse all applicants are compelled to submit the documentation listed in the Form Nr. 2 – Application for the Concourse in the election in the academic position of Scientific Research-Teaching Grade and the corresponding work position and the following documentation:

"nihil obstat" from their Ordinary (for priestly candidates), a copy of the certificate of citizenship, a copy of evidence of work experience at a higher education institution, a copy of the decision on the election to the current title and position at a higher education institution, a report on the fulfilment of tender and legal requirements for the election, a report on previous scientific, teaching and professional activities at an institution of higher education and outside of it, three lists of published works according to the categorisation: a list of all past works made and published before and after the last election to the current title at an institution of higher education, and a list of all the works with which you compete for the election to the particular title according to the tender, published scientific papers according to the categorisation and in the required number for the election.

Act of the Scientific Labour and University Education, Statute of the University of J.J. Strossmayer in Osijek, revised text, Statute of the Faculty of Catholic Theology in Đakovo of the University of J.J. in Osijek, revised text, Rule Book for the execution of the procedure for election/re-election in appropriate academic positions and corresponding work positions of the University of J.J. Strossmayer in Osijek and the Form Nr. 2 are published on the web site of the Faculty of Catholic Theology in Đakovo http://www.djkbf.unios.hr/ (Faculty/documents, forms and sessions of the Faculty Council).

All documentation shall be submitted in five copies and three copies in electronic form (on CD). Works for the election shall be submitted in four copies and two copies in electronic form (on CD and in the PDF format).

Additional comments

Applicants of both sexes can apply following the same and equal pre-conditions.

Incomplete and out-of-deadline applications will not be taken into consideration.

All applicants on the Concourse will be duly informed about the results of the Concourse not later than 15 days after its termination. Faculty of Catholic Theology in Đakovo withholds its right to duly inform all the participating applicants even via e-mail.

All applications for the Concourse with the corresponding documentation must be submitted within 30 days from the publication of the Concourse on the following address: University of J.J. in Osijek, Faculty of Catholic Theology in Đakovo, St. Petar Preradović Nr.17, 31 400 Đakovo, with the designation “for the concourse for a full professor”.

Skills/Qualifications

Every applicant on the concourse have to fulfil all the conditions prescribed by the Labour Act (Official Bulletin Nr. 93/14., 127/17. and 98/19.)

Applicants to the concourse, besides all the preconditions prescribed by the articles 93. and 95. of the Act of the Scientific Labour and University Education (Official Bulletin Nr. 123/03., 198/03., 105/04., 2/07.-Decision of the Croatian Supreme Court 174/04., 46/07., 63/11., 94/13. and 139/13., 101/14., -Decision of the Croatian Supreme Court 60/15.-Decision of the Croatian Supreme Court 131/17.) are obliged to fulfil preconditions proscribed by the article 190. and 192. of the Statute of the University of J.J. Strossmayer in Osijek, revised text and the article 94. of the Statute of the Faculty of Catholic Theology in Đakovo of the J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek, and the article 13. of the Rule Book for the execution of the procedure for election/re-election in appropriate academic positions and corresponding work positions of the University of J.J. Strossmayer in Osijek.

Specific Requirements

If an applicant can consume a legal advantage toward obtaining work position in accordance with particular legislature, it is compelled to state this possibility in the application for the concourse, to submit all the documentation which can verify the legal status which enables the exercise of particular legal advantage, a corroboration of the Croatian Labour Bureau emitted during the time interval which encompasses this concourse and also a confirmation of the unemployed person and an evidence which can clearly demonstrate the manner in which the previous work contract was terminated. Legal advantage in relation to other applicants can be realised only under uniform and prescribed conditions.

By submitting an application for this Concourse applicant also automatically gives in consent that all its personal data contained in the Concourse documentation can be collected and processed in the scope to conduct the concourse in accordance with regulations that deal with the protection of personal data, especially with the Directive (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council from 27.4.2016 regarding the protection of an individual connected with processing personal data and free exchange of this type of information and of putting out of practice the Directive 95/46/EC (General Directive on personal data protection).If an applicant does not complete and sign the approval form, his/her job application will be considered as incomplete thus resulting in dismissing it.
