OFFER DESCRIPTION

Required professional qualifications and skills:

• Ph.D. degree in technical sciences, discipline: civil engineering and transport, specialization: building physics or building materials;

• The experience and running activity in the theoretical and experimental research in the field of building physics or building materials;

• The practical knowledge of some computer codes for building energy simulation and for LCA in building sector;

• Scientific achievements in the field of building materials, documented with at least 3 publications from the Web of Science Core Collection;

• Experience in teaching students (lectures, projects, laboratories) in the field of building physics or sustainable building materials and structures,

• Experience in teaching at the university level;

• Fluent language skills (at least Polish and English, possibly other western European language), at the level necessary for teaching;

• Participation in research projects: national and international;

• Confirmed achievements in the international scientific cooperation (foreign internship, summer schools, courses etc.).

 

Documents required:

• Application form filled and signed by the candidate.

• A job application addressed to His Magnificence the Rector of the Lodz University of Technology.

• Curriculum vitae, personal data form.

• A report describing scientific, didactic and organizational activities of the candidate.

• A list of publications before and after the latest promotion together with the Impact Factor values according to the current register of journals mentioned on the MNSzW (Ministry of Science and Higher Education) website.

• A register of citations without autocitations on the basis of the Web of Science or SCOPUS databases (in case of a great number of citations it is sufficient to write how many there are, and limit the register to 50 items).

• In case of persons in charge of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, UE or similar grants – a copy of a written appointment to the post of the grant manager.

• A copy of the document conferring the Ph.D. degree.

• A copy of at least two articles printed (or a letter from the editor informing about the acceptance to print) in the journal from the Web of Science Core Collection, with the MNSzW values.

• The candidate’s declaration that the Lodz University of Technology will be their main place of work.

• The candidate’s declaration that he will pass all his educational and scientific authorisations for acting as a figure head for the Lodz University of Technology.
