OFFER DESCRIPTION

Our laboratory is studying the mechanisms regulating stem cells and tumor heterogeneity (See recent publications: Sánchez-Danés Nature 2016, Latil, Cell Stem Cell 2017, Sánchez-Danés Nature 2018, Lescroart Science 2018, Pastushenko Nature 2018, Dekoninck Cell 2020, Aragona Nature 2020, Centonze Nature 2020, Pastushenko Nature 2021).

In this project, we will define in a comprehensive and integrated manner, the identities and functions of the different tumor states at single-cell resolution and define the mechanisms that regulate the transition between tumor states that are responsible for tumor progression, metastasis, and resistance to therapy.

The position will be funded for 3 years with possibility of extension.

Applicants must have a PhD degree and a strong track record in molecular and cellular biology with at least a good, peer-reviewed first author paper published or in press. A previous experience with mouse genetics, bio-imaging, molecular and cellular biology is essential.
