OFFER DESCRIPTION

The "European Reform University Alliance -ERUA is part of the European Universities Initiative (EUI) of the European Commission. The European Universities Initiative (EUI) is one of the European Union's (EU) flagship initiatives to build a European education area. The aim is to strengthen strategic partnerships between higher education institutions across the EU and to develop 41 "European Universities" by 2024.The "European Reform University Alliance" consists of five young European reform universities in Bulgaria, Denmark, France and Greece that have joined forces to form a transnational university network with common values and goals in research, teaching and institutional development. ERUA will develop an original interdisciplinary ecosystem, thanks to our strength in SSH and Arts and our connections to the Natural Sciences, Computer Sciences and Engineering The University of the Aegean (UAegean) is a partner of the ERUA and is the leading partner for WP5-Reimagining the campus.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the ERUA research teams in the frame of the frame of WP5 Re-Imagining Campus, under the: 2nd Flagship “Aeiforia in ERUA”: Task 5.3. A shared strategy for sustainable Campuses, Societies and Regions for the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals  & Task 5 4 Shaping Smart Specialization Strategies (RIS 3 With Regional and Social Engagement

He/she will support a) Mapping  existing sustainability efforts, open e tools for sustainability assessments, Analyze, Identify key playersb) Engaging students, communities and stakeholders/partnerships Engagement action plan, workshops, participations c) Exploring Regions, Models and Methods profiles of the  Alliance, open platforms, aps and tools for partnerships and Mapping the key regional partnerships d) Building a base for Alliance Knowledge Base and Exploring synergies e) Engaging and connecting regions and actors,best practices, events, workshops f) Demonstrating  Regions Hackathons and Local Contact Points as “Science Shops” in Campuses, and Community Based Participatory Research Education g) connecting sustainability issues with the 3rd Flagship “Bauhaus in ERUA” in order to create collaboration opportunities for students, researchers, academics and administrators.

  • Reporting across different data sources
  • Research design, such as devising interview and focus group topic guides, questionnaires, surveys and evaluation frameworks
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Windows environment

Specific Requirements

  • Personal interest in public policy
  • Experience in the organization of conferences, seminars, workshops
  • Skills for providing support to organizational activities
  • Work on Lesvos-Mytilene
