The Analysis and Advanced Materials for Structural Design (AMADE) research group in Girona is looking for candidates to fill a job offer in EBR and NSM strengthening of RC structures. The open position is within the frame of a research project EffAnCom (enhancing the efficiency of FRP strengthened reinforced concrete structures: Analysis and design of anchorage systems to avoid premature debonding failure), funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness. The project seeks to study the effect of different anchorage systems to prevent or delay the debonding of FRP from the concrete structure.
Duration of the contract: 3 years
The amount of the contract is 21,043.32 euros/year for the first and second year and 22,338.77 euros for the third year. These amounts cover the cost of the contract and include the gross annual remuneration and the employer's Social Security contribution.

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Have finished a Master’s Degree between January 1, 2019 and the date of submission of the application (October 20, 2021). There are few exceptions, detailed in the attached call.
- Have a minimum average grade of academic transcript for undergraduate studies or equivalent degree equal to or greater than 6,50. In the case of studies completed abroad, this average mark must be calculated in accordance with the declaration of equivalences provided by the current resolutions of the Ministry of Education (https://www.educacionyfp.gob.es/servicios-al-ciudadano/catalogo/general/20/203615/ficha.html).

Applicants will have already received the appropriate qualification (Master Degree) allowing the applicant to commence a PhD, before employment. MSc in civil engineering, solid mechanics or structural engineering, and related disciplines, are preferred.
