ADVANCED REPRESENTATION OF MULTIMEDIA CONTENTS FOR DIGITAL MUSEUMS, 3D reconstruction and interactive exhibit systems of the Roman Theatre in Amman, 2021_ASSEGNI_DESIGN_18

The research aims to optimize applications and new systems for the communication and interactive dissemination of the Jordanian architectural heritage through modern multimedia tools. Scientific results will have to integrate representation technologies through a game engine environment such as a graphic engine of modeling, rendering, and exhibit to compose the digital setting of the Roman Theatre. At the same time, the environmental requalification and museum set-up activities will experiment with the preparation of a tour itinerary that takes advantage of augmented reality and the direct and tactile experience of architectural models, maps, and digitization of collections, ranging from documentation to advanced representation with 3D scanners.
