Offer Description
Tareas principales:
1. Diseño de productos y sistemas BIPV para renovación energética de distintas tipologías de edificios, incluyendo los edificios históricos y incluyendo la combinación con otras soluciones de rehabilitación, en particular las soluciones basadas en la naturaleza.
2. Caracterización teórica y experimental del comportamiento energético de los sistemas propuestos
3. Elaboración de una metodología para la certificación energética de los edificios que tenga en cuenta los excedentes de energía libre de emisiones que se inyectan a la red.
4. Elaboración de artículos científicos e informes técnicos
5. Asistencia a congresos y actividades de divulgación
6. Colaboración con actores nacionales e internacionales del sector BIPV
Main tasks:
1. Design of BIPV products and systems for energy renovation of different building typologies, including historic buildings as well as the combination with other retrofit solutions, in particular nature-based solutions.
2. Theoretical and experimental characterization of the energy performance of the proposed systems.
3. Development of a methodology for the energy certification of buildings that takes into account the emission-free energy surpluses that are injected into the grid.
4. Elaboration of scientific articles and technical reports
5. Attendance to conferences and dissemination activities.
6. Collaboration with national and international actors in the BIPV sector.

Grado o Máster en arquitectura, ingeniería industrial, ingeniería de materiales, ingeniería eléctrica, física o titulación equivalente.
Disposición para realizar un doctorado.
Excelente expediente académico.
Se valorará la capacidad para utilizar softwares comunes: Office 365, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Revit, software GIS.
Se valorará la capacidad para utilizar lenguajes de programación comunes: por ejemplo, Python, Matlab (o similares).
Technical Master degree such as architecture, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent qualification.
Willingness to pursue a doctoral degree.
Excellent academic record.
Capability to use common softwares constitutes an asset: Office 365, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Revit, GIS software.
Capability to use common programming languages constitutes an asset: e.g. Python, Matlab (or similar)

Additional Information
Se ofrece la posibilidad de realizar una tesis doctoral trabajando en un proyecto de investigación sobre rehabilitación energética con sistemas solares fotovoltaicos de integración arquitectónica (BIPV - Building Integrated Photovoltaics). El objetivo general del proyecto es el desarrollo, caracterización, optimización y validación de productos y sistemas fotovoltaicos integrados para proyectos de renovación energética. El investigador tendrá la posibilidad de trabajar en un equipo multidisciplinar y de formarse en una de las áreas de conocimiento de mayor proyección, cual es la rehabilitación energética y la generación distribuida.
The researcher will have the opportunity to elaborate a PhD thesis working on a research project on energy renovation with Building Integrated Photovoltaics – BIPV. The overall objective of the project is the development, characterization, optimization, and validation of integrated photovoltaic products and systems for energy renovation projects.
The researcher will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team and be trained in one of the most promising areas of knowledge, which is energy rehabilitation and distributed generation.
