OFFER DESCRIPTION

The Cybermedia Center's Advanced Network Environment Research Division conducts research on various network research and promote domestic/international collaborative research using wide-area networks such as SINET, JGN, and APAN. The division is engaged in 35% effort in university-wide support operations (academic networks, high-performance Computation and Data Analytics, Open Science).
At the same time, in order to promote education and research as a joint course of the Department of Information Network, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, and the Department of Information and Computer Science, School of Engineering Science, specialized knowledge and research capability of network technology, cyber infrastructure, eScience are required. Currently, the Division is in charge of education in the Department of Information and Computer Science, School of Engineering Science, and Graduate School of Information Science and Technology. (Basic Information Science / Introduction, Information Theory B (Signal Theory), Information Network Design , etc.).
In this open call for participants, the Cybermedia Center's Advanced Network Environment Research Division will hire one professor who will conduct research and education while engaging in university-wide support operations as described above.
