OFFER DESCRIPTION
Our laboratory is studying the mechanisms regulating stem cells and tumor heterogeneity (See recent publications: Sánchez-Danés Nature 2016, Latil, Cell Stem Cell 2017, Sánchez-Danés Nature 2018, Lescroart Science 2018, Pastushenko Nature 2018, Dekoninck Cell 2020, Aragona Nature 2020, Centonze Nature 2020, Pastushenko Nature 2021).
In this project, we will define in a comprehensive and integrated manner, the identities and functions of the different tumor states at single-cell resolution and define the mechanisms that regulate the transition between tumor states that are responsible for tumor progression, metastasis, and resistance to therapy.
The project is funded by the WELBIO, the FNRS and the European Research Council (ERC).
The positions will be funded for 4 years with possibility of extension.
Enquiries should be sent to Professor Cédric Blanpain (labblanp@ulb.be), together with the names and email address of 3 references.
