OFFER DESCRIPTION

The research fellow will actively contribute with individual research and develop tasks within the scope of the Spectrality – Literature and Arts project, whose main objective is to investigate configurations of spectrality at the intersection of different means of representation. The grantee will work closely with the project’s coordinators, ensuring the dynamization of the project’s different lines of research, the organization of the permanent seminar, the maintenance of the project's digital resources, the organization of regular thematic colloquia and the involvement of younger researchers in discussion groups and other activities. The scholarship holder, besides contributing with relevant research, will give support to the development of applications for funding of the project's dissemination activities.

Applications should be sent by email to gestao.ielt@fcsh.unl.pt with the reference ESPECTRALIDADE BIPD and accompanied by the following documents:• Curriculum Vitae (max. 4 pages), with evidence of the elements required in the AC;• PhD degree certificate;• In the case of academic degrees obtained in foreign higher education institutions, it is necessary to present the recognition of the degrees obtained, in accordance with DL No. 66/2018, of 16 August; or, in the absence of recognition at the time of candidacy, a declaration under an honorary commitment that this recognition will be made prior to contracting the Scholarship, in case of being the selected candidate. However, it is mandatory to present the acknowledgment up to the moment of contracting the scholarship.• Motivation letter (max. 1 page).

In the case of academic degrees obtained outside Portugal, recognition of degrees obtained in accordance with DL Nr 66/2018, 16 August, is required; or a declaration of honour that the recognition document will be submitted before the grant starting date. The submission of the recognition document before the grant contract is celebrated date is compulsory.

Benefits

1646€, paid monthly by bank transfer, according to the table of scholarship values directly attributed by FCT, I.P., in the country (http://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores). To this value is added a personal accident insurance, and optional voluntary social insurance at the first level.

Eligibility criteria

PhD degree obtained in the last 3 years; publications related to the Project’s topic; experience in managing research projects in this research field; experience in preparing funding applications in this research field; experience in the edition of collective volumes; experience in organizing conferences and scientific meetings in this research area; ability to integrate multidisciplinary teams and fluency in English (oral and written).
