【Description of the institution (employment background)】
Laboratory of Molecular motor, Department of Biology is seeking an assistant professor who conduct research on molecular motors and cytoskeleton using various approaches. The successful applicant will also assist in the education of undergraduate and graduate students and the operation of Department of Biology.

Research: Research on molecular motors and cytoskeleton in the Molecular motor Laboratory in collaboration with Prof. Kohji Ito.
Education: Teaching undergraduate and graduate biology courses

【Time to arrive】
After December, 2021
The successful candidate will be hired as a tenured faculty member in accordance with the "Regulations on the Tenure-Track System for Chiba University".
Interim evaluation will be conducted in the third year after the appointment, and final review for tenure will be conducted in the fifth year.
Remuneration will be an annual salary determined in accordance with the university's remuneration regulations.
The applicant may be asked to come to the university to be interviewed or conduct a seminar.
(Travel and other expenses are to be borne by the applicant. Note that the seminar and interview may be conducted online.)
