[Description of the institution (year of establishment, capital amount, number of employees, etc.), details of the business, recruitment background information, project description, etc.]

Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech), a Japanese national university opened in 1909 in the city of Kitakyushu, launched a new post-graduate program, the Space Engineering International Course (SEIC), in April 2013. The purpose of the program is to develop global engineers who have profound inter-cultural communication skills and systems engineering thinking with a broad perspective. The program is targeted to not only Japanese students, but also international students from emerging or non-space faring countries that try to build capabilities in basic space technology through nano-satellite development. The programme aims to further worldwide nano-satellite development efforts and promote the peaceful and innovative uses of outer space through the participation of a larger number of countries for the benefit of all mankind.
The program offers research opportunities toward a Master or Doctor degree, a series of lectures on space engineering, project based learning (PBL) on space development in collaboration with Japanese students, and on-the-job training on space environment testing. Based on this program, many nanosatellite projects, such as BIRDS satellites, were born. The international space activity of Kyutech represented by SEIC has received various national and/or international awards, such as Space Development and Utilization Award (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Frank J. Malina Astronautics Medal from IAF (International Astronautical Federation), Airbus GEDC Diversity Award, and more.
To assure the continued success of SEIC, Kyutech needs a person who is capable of visiting foreign space-related institutions, especially in emerging countries, to recruit students and build/maintain collaborative relationships regarding human resource development and joint research. Kyutech calls for a person who has professional knowledge, diplomatic skills, language skills, physical and mental strength to do the international networking activities, and the educational skills to guide PBL in the space engineering field.
