The research grant is part of the ANTIGONE research project which investigates the process of marginalization of the European mountains since the 18th century through the study of how the practices of shared management of environmental resources have changed. The project includes case studies in which archive research (WP1), soil investigations (rural and landscape archaeology, vegetation cover analysis, WP2), oral history investigations (WP3), archaeobotanical and geo-archaeological analyses are carried out ( WP4), comparison of the chronologies achieved through the different disciplinary approaches (WP5) and case studies (WP6). The research fellow will actively contribute to the field surveys (WP 2), to the palynological analyses (pollen, micro-carbons, non-pollen palynomorphs, WP4) and to the comparison between the chronology constructed with each source (WP5).
