The Graduate School of Engineering Science at Osaka University seeks to appoint a Professor in the Division of Bioengineering, Department of Mechanical Science and Bioengineering. The expected research focus is on i) the investigation of the structure and/or function of living systems/bodies, ii) technical development in biomedical engineering and/or biomimetic systems, and/or iii) interdisciplinary studies on the above fields with, for example, system optimization and control theories, which are all to be studied with mechanics-based approaches.
The successful applicant is supposed to conduct research and teach subjects in Department of Mechanical Science and Bioengineering for graduate students and those in Mechanical Science Course for undergraduate students. Refer to the above "Job posting URL" for further details.
