Offer Description
Applications are open for 2 PHD Research Studentships, within the framework of project/R&D institution (eGames/IST-ID), (CC931101), financed by Founds PRR
Workplan: Workplan: (i) To investigate de multimodal perception in the contexto of XR, through the use of interfaces of Brain – Computer and other biosenses; (ii) to develop holistic solutions to decode the human brain for imersive technoplogies; (iii) drawing and validation of experiences for a target public with special needs. All these activities are in line with the competences desired dor a PHD in Informatic Engineering of IST, for example: capacity to develop cientific work, signal process, AI and the drawing and implementation of interfaces and immersive experiences.
Duration: The research fellowship(s) will have the duration of 12 months, renewable. It’s expected to begin in February 2023.

Additional Information
Monthly maintenance allowance: According to the values for Research Fellowships awarded by FCT in Portugal (http://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores), the amount of the monthly maintenance allowance is €1144,64, being the payment method an option of the Fellow by Wire Transfer/Check.

Selection methods: The selection methods will be the following: avaliação curricular (AC), cartas de recomendação (CR), e entrevista individual remota (EI); e com a respetiva valoração: AC (5, 50%), CR (2, 20%), e EI (3, 30%).

Announcement/ notification of the results: The final evaluation results will be communicated to all applicants by email.
