Public selection for University fixed-term researcher pursuant to art. 24 clause 3 letter b) of Italian Law n. 240 of 30.12.2010
Duration of contract: 3 years
Annual gross remuneration € 43.613 - Full-time subject to subsequent adjustments Studies and researches concerning the Islamic artistic (and archaeological) heritage which is kept in Italy, through detailed analysis of the so-called applied arts. This study will imply careful technical analysis and studies about the historical archival documentation related to the history of import and export of artifacts in the Mediterranean basin, and the Near and Middle East in medieval, renaissance and post renaissance periods. The researcher will start a reasoned census also through digital tools with the aim of developing the groundwork for a scientific cataloging of the collections in Italy.
