Archaeology, History and Human Sciences

The Course aims to train PhDs in the archaeological, historical, philologicalliterary
sciences and in the human and educational sciences, with particular
regard to the sector of research, enhancement and management of cultural
heritage.
The interdisciplinary perspective will allow to train highly qualified PhDs in
the humanities, to respond both to the needs of university research and
research centers, and of the public administration and the private sector,
where a strong interest has been expressed by the management, also in the
scientific field, for a strong preparation in the humanities. During the three
years, PhD students acquire the scientific method and the necessary skills for
the world of public and private work in the field of the pure research, the
university teaching, the application of new technologies to the different
sectors of humanities, and finally of the publication and dissemination of the
results of the research according to international standards
