OFFER DESCRIPTION

The Head of the Interdepartmental Chair of History and Theory of Art at Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw announces a competition for the position of assistant professor in the Interdepartmental Chair of History and Theory of Art

The competition is open only to people who meet the requirements of employment as an academic teacher appropriate to the position, as defined in the Act of 20 July 2018. - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668, as amended), Law of 3 July 2018. - Introductory provisions of the Act - Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1669 as amended) and in the statutes of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

 

COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Artistic or scientific discipline: art sciences
  2. Requirements under the Act and the Statut

 

Required qualifications:

- PhD degree

- scholarly achievements in the history of ancient/medieval art and problems related to theatre and its relationship with the visual arts

- teaching experience at art higher education level

- documents should be submitted to the Office of the Interdepartmental Chair of History and Theory of Art in Warsaw - stationary in a paper form (after previous appointment), or remotely to e-mail: mkhits@asp.waw.pl

- deadline for submitting documents - by 1st July 2021 (by 3 p.m.)

Recommendation:

Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw does not provide accommodation.

Winning the competition does not automatically result in establishing an employment relationship - the decision concerning the employment of the person selected in the competition is taken by the Rector.
