Project Manager (Forest Sciences)

Qualifications:

Pre-Bologna degree or Master’s degree in Forest Engineering or in the area of forest sciences.

• Ease of relationship with differentiated interlocutors;
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationships;
• Excellent writing and synthesis skills;
• Proactivity and ability to identify improvements in process flows;
• Proactivity in solving the organization's daily issues;
• Availability and flexibility of schedule.

Among others, the following experiencie is prioritized:

• Professional experience in forest engineering, especially in one or more of the following areas: maritime pine silvicultural models; volumetric evaluation of forest plantations; forest management; plantations management associated with resin exploration; resin or other non-wood forest products exploitation or processing; quantification and valorisation of ecosystem services;
• Working experience with public and private forest sector entities and other forest sector agents in Portugal;
• Experience in the participation and/or research project management and/or consulting in collaboration with companies and entities of the national scientific and technological system;
• Portuguese and English language written and oral proficiency (level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
• Mandatory requirement: 3 years of professional experience, preferably in one of the previous functional areas.

The candidate to be hired will be entitled to an employment contract with a fixed monthly salary between TRU18 and TRU 32 levels, acoording to the curriculum vitae and the experience presented and proven.

- Interview with candidates with curricular evaluation equal to or more than 14 values

- The final classification will be the weighted average of the curriculum evaluation, which will assume a weight of 70%, and the interview, which will represent 30%
