OFFER DESCRIPTION

ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMEMNT OF THE LABORATORY ACTIVITIES AIMED AT ANALYZING ANCIENT DNA IN ARCHAEOLOGICAL CAT REMAINS (FELIS SILVESTRIS). SUPPORT IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF EXPERIMENTAL PROCEDURES AND IN THE SUPERVISION OF STUDENTS AND FELLOWS INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT. PREPARATIONA AND MANAGEMENT OF A CATLAOGUE OF THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL REMAINS ANALYSED DURING THE PROJECT. IMPLEMENTATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF PROTOCOLS FOR THE PRETREATMENT OF ANCIENT REMAINS (DECONTAMINATION AND PULVERIZATION OF CAT BONES, THEETH, AND MUMMIFIED TISSUES), AND FOR THE EXTRACTION OF DNA. DEVELOPMENT AND OPTIMIZATION OF ANCIENT DNA ENRICHMENTS TECHNIQUES. SUPPORT IN THE ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT OF OUTREACH ACTIVITIES
