Offer Description
The research assistant will work in an interdisciplinary team that will develop new group of modern soft magnetic materials. Therefore, the candidate is required to have an outstanding knowledge and expertise in the field of modern soft magnetic materials and its characterization.
Furthermore, the assistant will be responsible for performing measurements and data collection on Physical Properties Measurement System (PPMS) by Quantum Design. Moreover the basic and advanced maintenance operations on PPMS will be the duty of the applicant.
The applicant will be responsible for independent research, cooperation with other team members, as well as cooperation with other scientific entities or commercial companies.
This position is focused on cross-disciplinary research activities in the field of modern soft magnetism. The successful candidate is expected to characterize magnetic properties, microstructure and mechanical properties of developed materials.
Moreover, the candidate will be responsible for carrying out experiments on Physical Properties Measurement System (PPMS) by Quantum Design. Therefore long-time experience on working on the system is mandatory. Performing the scheduled maintenance procedures of the system will be mandatory.
The candidate will be responsible for project application from Polish or international funds, writing scientific articles in highly-scored scientific journals.
The person employed in this position will be involved in supervising BSc and MSc students.
It is desired that the candidate will strengthen the existing research profile of the Department and contribute to strengthen the national and international collaboration in academia and industry.
