Offer Description
The candidate should have PhD degree in the field of engineering technical sciences or related, in the discipline of chemical engineering or related, area: ceramic materials; achievements in science (confirmed by scientific publications from JCR list); be involved in the above-stated discipline, and have the predisposition to lead scientific research.
The research activity will involve the preparation and characterization of ceramic materials of spherical geometry obtained via the innovative shaping technique UV curing assisted drop-casting proposed by the Advanced Ceramics Group of the Chair of Chemical Technology. The applicant should have a thorough knowledge of techniques such as: rheological analysis, zeta potential analysis, density, mechanical strength, Vickers hardness and fracture toughness measurements. The candidate should be highly independent and have experience in writing scientific papers and grant proposals.
