Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek invites applications for the appointment of one teacher for the scientific-teaching title of a full professor and the position of a full professor in the scientific area of Technical Sciences, scientific field of Electrical Engineering on an indefinite full-time contract in the Department of Communications.
The vacancy is open to male and female participants. Incomplete and late applications will not be taken into consideration. A complete application is the one containing all information and appendices and is personally signed by the applicant.
Applicants who are foreign nationals have to submit a Croatian language certificate in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (C2 level).
Applications are to be sent within 30 days of the announcement of the vacancy to the following address: Sveučilište Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku, Fakultet elektrotehnike, računarstva i informacijskih tehnologija Osijek, Kneza Trpimira 2b, 31 000 Osijek by a registered mail. Applications should specify “Application for the position of a _______________________”.
Applicants will be informed on the results within the legal timeframe (15 days of the procedure closure).
Applicants are required to enclose documentation specified in the application form No. 2 – Application form for the election in the scientific-teaching/artistic-teaching title and the appropriate position available on the Faculty’s website https://www.ferit.unios.hr. All relevant documents are to be sent in two (2) copies (one of which is an original) and on a CD in a .pdf form.
By applying for the announced position, applicants explicitly accept that their data can be collected and processed for the purpose of carrying out the vacancy procedure in line with acts and regulations on personal data protection regulated by the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). If an applicant has the right of a hiring privilege, one needs to specify that in the job application. Applicants wanting to exercises the hiring privilege pursuant to a special law are required to send required documents proving the hiring privilege, a confirmation issued by the Croatian Employment Service at the time of vacancy announcement proving that an applicant is an unemployed person and a proof of terminating the last job’s contract.
