DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):
Candidate for the position should meet:
- master's degree in Human Nutrition and Food Evaluation;
- open doctoral dissertation - PhD thesis in the final stage of implementation;
- scientific achievements in line with the profile of the Institute, in the form of documented scientific achievements as published in scientific journals, minimum at least 5 publications from the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) list, published in 2019-2021;
- completing an internship abroad in research centers, for a total period of at least 4 months;
- skills and experience in conducting research on the quality of organic food;
- skills and experience in operating laboratory apparatus and equipment as well as high pressure liquid chromatograph (HPLC);
- skills in using statistical programs, including: R, Statistica, Statgraphics, XLSTAT;
- computer skills in the field of MS OFFICE and programs for managing scientific literature;
- at least good English language skills, sufficient to allow participation in the preparation and implementation of programs in English, as well as writing scientific publications in this language and giving presentations at scientific conferences;
- skills in conducting classes in the Polish language and minimum 3 years of experience in teaching in the field of ecology and environmental protection, food raw materials and organic food, experience in on-line teaching using Microsoft Teams;
- experience in presenting research results at scientific conferences.
An additional attribute of the candidate will be experience in organizing and conducting scientific projects in the field of food quality assessment and experience in cooperation in international research teams.
The candidate should also show positive personality traits, like creativity, commitment to planning and implementation of research, responsibility, conscientiousness and diligence, moreover communicativeness, readiness to deepen knowledge, ability to cooperate in national and international teams, kindness and loyalty to the team in which candidate will be employed, as well as interest in research topics in agriculture, organic food and food quality and food assessment.
The candidates should submit documents between May 26 and June 9, 2021 in the Department of Functional and Organic Food, Institute of Human Nutrition Sciences, Warsaw University of Life Science SGGW. The following documents (in Polish) are required:
- an application for employment, addressed to the Rector of Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW,
- personal questionnaire,
- curriculum vitae,
- copies of diplomas and certificates
- a list of scientific achievements with the list of published/accepted papers,
- a statement (on a special form) that candidate meets the requirements of Article 109.1 (in the Act) and that WULS-SGGW will be the primary place of work for the candidate (as stated in Polish law),
- permission to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the recruitment process.
