The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher

This position will be funded by EU project: NEFERTITI, Innovative photocatalysts integrated in flow photoreactor systems for direct CO2 and H2O conversion into solar fuels.

ICIQ is looking for a Postdoctoral researcher to carry out research in the group of Prof. Emilio Palomares with experience on the synthesis of materials with potential application as catalysts for the electrochemical and/or photochemical reduction of carbon dioxide and the generation of other products.

Responsibilities:

• The researcher will be responsible for the development and characterization of materials and their application as electro/photo catalysts in the reduction of CO2 and the generation of other products of interest. Moreover, she/he will be supervising Ph.D. researchers and Master students. The researcher will deliver internal reports and write manuscripts based on the experimental results. His/her participation in national and international proposals is also encouraged.
