OFFER DESCRIPTION
The Thermal Photonics group led by Prof. Dr. Georgia T. Papadakis. is searching for an outstanding and motivated researcher with excellent track record, who is interested in the area of thermal photonics. The postdoctoral candidate will have the opportunity to work in the area of thermal radiation harnessing and control, targeting applications in thermal regulation and renewable energy. Initial projects in the group will involve nanophotonic design, emerging materials relevant at infrared frequencies (low-dimensional materials, phase-change materials, and highly anisotropic materials), and experimental demonstrations (fabrication, characterization with infrared spectroscopy - see resources at the NFL facility). For projects’ details, please visit the Thermal Photonics Group website at: http://185.132.136.20/lang/research/groups/groups-details?group_id=47
