The Thinker Maker Space of CYENS Center of Excellence is pleased to announce an open call for its Internship Program aimed at students and early career individuals.
Aiming to become a modern creativity and innovation hub in Nicosia’s historic centre, the Makerspace will use its Internship Program to inspire talented individuals by enabling both the development of existing skills as well as the discovery of new ones. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in the development of a lively inclusive innovation and creativity ecosystem.
DETAILS OF THE PROGRAM
A number of paid Internship slots are offered for full-time or part-time engagement. Applicants must be available for 2 to 12 months. Interns will be expected to assist staff in the daily operation and/or development of the Makerspace.

- Transcripts of coursework (where applicable)

Applicants must be able to work in CYENS’ premises in Nicosia and have a background in one or more of the following:
- Undergraduate (BA, BSc) and Postgraduate (MA, MSc and PhD) enrolled students
- Recent graduates (who have graduated from university within the last 2 years)
- Any other individuals with related background (Digital design and/or fabrication, Creative Arts, Event curation or any other relevant field)
- EU citizens and Third Country Nationals
For non-EU applicants an entry visa and/or work permit may be required
No application deadline. The Thinker Maker Space accepts applications throughout the year. Internships will be offered to select candidates based on Makerspace needs and plans.

The project may be co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the EU in the framework of the Operational Programme “Competitiveness and Sustainable Development 2014-2020”, Priority Axis 6: “Integrated Sustainable Urban Development for the Programming Period 2014-2020 and in the framework of the implementation of the Integrated Development Strategy of Nicosia Municipality.
