Competition

for the appointment of Director M/F of the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries

The director is appointed for a term of four years.

In addition to the conditions prescribed by law and on the basis of law, the appointed person must also meet the following conditions:

- that he/she has been elected at least to the scientific title of Senior  research associate,

- to have at least five years of work experience in a scientific institution in the title of Research Associate or in a higher title,

- to excel in leading significant scientific projects and programs.

Applicants are required to submit the following to apply for the competition:

- a copy of the decision on election to the required scientific title,

- CV,

- written proposal of the work program and management of the Institute.

Persons referred to Article 102, paragraphs 1 - 3 of the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and members of their Families (Official Gazette 121/17 and 98/19) are invited to submit evidence referred in Article 103, paragraph 1 of the same Act for the purpose of exercising the right of priority in employment.

The deadline for submission of applications is 30 days from the date of publication of the tender.

Applications for the tender with the necessary attachments are submitted within 30 days from the date of publication of the tender to the address:

Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries, 21000 Split, Šetalište Ivana Meštrovića 63, in a sealed envelope marked "Competition for the appointment of the Director".

Applicants will be notified of the results of the competition within 45 days from the deadline for submission of applications.
