for the position of Assistant Professor

in the Department of Financial Management

in the Institute of Economic Sciences

at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics

of Wroclaw University

 

The call is open for those who comply with the requirements of Law on Higher Education (Dz. U. No. 2020, poz. 85 with amendments).

Selection process

Applicants should submit the following:

  • a letter of application addressed to the Chancellor of Wrocław University,
  • CV,
  • personal data form
  • a summary of scientific and educational accomplishments as well as others, connected with organization and popularization of science,
  • a list of scientific publications, description of educational accomplishments as well as others, connected with organization and popularization of science,
  • electronic versions of two most important publications
  • a copy of the PhD diploma
  • at least two letters of reference including information about the applicant’s academic, educational and organizational record. They should be sent directly at Andrzej.Bator@uwr.edu.pl by the authors without knowledge of content on the part of the applicant.

  • REQUIRED EDUCATION LEVEL
    Economics: PhD or equivalent
  • REQUIRED LANGUAGES
    ENGLISH: Good

Skills/Qualifications

Description: The applicants should meet below requirements:

  • A good command of English is required to prepare and conduct classes in that language;
  • Statement of representation of the scientific discipline Economics and Finance at 100%.
  • Hold a doctorate in economic sciences.
  • Have a good scientific and didactic achievement in the field of accounting and controlling.
  • Have at least several years of experience in teaching (especially lectures) at universities in the field of basic accounting, financial accounting, tax accounting, tax records, direct and indirect taxes, planning and running a business and its financing sources, and financial analysis
  • Have experience in the supervising of bachelor thesis.
  • Several years of experience as well as knowledge of financial-accounting programs such as SAGE SYMFONIA, COMARCH ERP OPTIMA
  • It is expected that the Candidate will have a professional license in accounting, tax consulting.
