Organisation and recruiting unit: Metabolomics Platform-IISPV JOB DESCRIPTION

Researcher career profiles (R1-R4): R2

Education and qualification: Scientist or Engineer with a PhD degree

Competencies: To carry out MALDI-MS spectra acquisitions and image data processing on animal and vegetal tissues. Sample preparation, using sputtering and/or thermal evaporation for organic matrices or nano-metals deposition. Knowledge and professional experience: We seek a candidate with experience on matrix-assisted laser desorption and ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS). We also would appreciate experience in instrumental improvements of MALDI-MS ion sources

Number of available positions: 1

Labour conditions:

Full-time position (40h/week)

Starting date: 6 May 2021

Lenght of the contract: 1 year

Gross annual salary: 26.800€

Workplace: Metabolomics Platform, Department of Electronic Engineering, Universitat Rovira i Virgili
